Starting Wage $10.75/hr with $100 bonus after 90 days and completion of training.

The Life Skills Trainer plays an important role in teaching to our individuals in a variety of residential and community settings. The position will be knowledgeable of personal plans and implementing their outcomes. This position is working in residential and community settings. Maintaining a healthy and safe environment will be a primary responsibility. Additional duties and responsibilities may be implemented by the ISL Coordinator or Supervisor.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have current car insurance
  • Must not have been convicted of a felony
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • You will need to create an account in our Genesis system using an email and password.
  • Applicant must have proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicant must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License, proof of liability insurance on their vehicle, current vehicle tags, and a good driving record as defined by our insurance company.
  • Applicant is responsible to enroll, complete, and maintain all training and certifications within the allotted time frame for any state mandated requirements including First Aid/CPR, Crisis Intervention (MANDT) Medication Administration, and Abuse and Neglect training.
  • All staff must complete any Agency orientation training and emergency procedure.
